Most of the people in this country get their news from the
local T.V., CABLE T.V., radio talk shows, the neighbor’s newspaper, and
gossip. A new thing has caught on and
that is Bog’s and Web Sites on computers.
Most of these are set up by nasty minded boys and girls who have nothing
to do but play adult and just be silly.
The one most influential of course is the T.V. and talk radio. The biggest problem with both is they are
always using poll numbers and anyone with a slight amount of brains knows poll
numbers cannot be trusted. For one thing
their plus or minus from accuracy is usually five or more percent either way
from accuracy which means it could be as much as ten percent wrong. Another
reason they cannot be trusted is all the T.V. outlets but one is so one sided
they cannot be trusted. Fox Cable is
pretty close to being even handed but try as they may they are accused of being
a right wing station while trying to be non-partisan. What we need is a Truth Network. I know it would be hard to always tell the
truth because their sources might be liars.
But with a good staff and honest management I believe it could be
done. With a commitment from the
citizens to vote, this country can be saved before it wakes up in a pure social
progressive country. This nation has had a large group of these nuts trying but
