If you want to find out if a glass dish can be safely used in your microwave follow the following simple things. Put the container in the oven empty; if it gets lukewarm use it, if it gets warm better not use it. If it gets hot don’t use it. The container might explode. I would bet that most folks just use them anyhow.

To clean a dirty microwave just throw a wt paper towel in the oven and cook for five minutes. Let it sit alone for a couple of minutes then wipe it clean.
