LAW SUITS MAY PROVIDE THE READERS WITH MONEY IF THEY ARE INTERESTED.
Money making for the reader is possible by either joining a class action lawsuit or begin one of your own. You will certainly see advertisements on the TV for calling lawyers 800 numbers or you might have gotten a letter like I did concerning the type of water pipe my house had when it was built in 1982. I took part, but of course after the lawyers got most of the income and I did not have much of a claim because I had not spent much on fixing the pipe I only got a pittance in real money. But there are many possibilities and I will from time to time mention some. But one thing is for sure. We should be thankful for all the Trial Lawyers turned out by the Taxpayers and Private Law schools. They will get most of the money awarded. But, their clients will get to divide up a whole bunch of money depending on how much is left and how many clients there are. Sometimes a bunch of money divided up is better than none.
I will suggest a person who had a “White Slave” in the family. My Grandfather was indentured as a slave when he was removed from a Catholic Orphans Home at age twelve by a landowner who had a large amount of land in the lower end of ward 8 here in Franklin Parish. He did everything from helping around the house until he was old enough to look out for the cows and hogs in Beouf River swamp. He watched my Grandmother work a yoke of oxen and declared He not only loved Her and would just have to marry Her because She knew how to handle the Oxen. He told this on their 65th wedding anniversary. He told His owner and He refused to release Him until he paid Him a lot of money or agreed for Him and His Bride to move on his place until it was paid. He went to a lawyer but the lawyer told him Lincoln only freed black slaves and made no mention of whites or other colors so there wasn’t much He could do. Another wealthy landowner went with my Grandfather and after threatening to tell His wife some unsavory things the landowner released my Grandfather and gave Him a paid in full for all services rendered. That was before Trial Lawyers like the ones to day.
