FIND THE TRUCK 9/28/07

When I was in High School most of the young folks attended church activities but didn’t always go inside the church.  This would some times lead to doing things that were jokes to some and plain mean to others.  One night the “outsiders” hide one of their friends truck in the School Principal’s garage that was near the church.  When the Wednesday night services were over He couldn’t find the truck.  A group of the outsiders would go down one country lane in an attempt to find the truck.  After about a mile or so down that lane, they would come back to the Church and another group would volunteer to go with Jiggs down another country lane about a mile or so and of course come back without the truck. After walking poor Jiggs until He could hardly make another step (usually about 2 P.M.) some one would walk over and point out that the Principals car was in His yard and not in the garage and there was a truck in it.  A very tired Jiggs Richardson would be too tired to argue or get mad- just get in the truck and go home.
