A SHORT FUNNY STORE HAPPENING

My Dad saved all kinds of containers to put groceries in when folks bought large amounts of items. He saved even wooden boxes that apples came in, bananas boxes and of course bought paper sacks but they would only hold so much and some large items would tear a hole in them. In those days people came to the store in mostly some kind of old pants or a pair of overalls. One man had very small hips and his pants hung kind of low all the time. He started out with a large wooden banana box full to the top. Several offered to help but he was very independent and refused all help. When he got in the door of the store his pants fell to the floor revealing he had no underwear on. A lady was approaching the door and he just sat his box down, apologized to the lady, picked up his pants and loaded the box in his old truck.
