HISTORY 08-11-07

Many times History is current. The Federal Government seems to not use history in their decision making and therefore the Nation is divided and is engaged in Nation Building as well as fighting our international enemies. I just do not understand why national leaders exhibit any knowledge of ever taking any History in High School or College. The same thing happened over Stem Cells. I was amazed to hear some of our Nations leaders saying some things that were not true in many cases arguing for things that were false or misleading. Personally I feel like the Government is already funding enough research. Let private parties that will receive any profit from the research do it

Our International enemies have a culture of their own. We must quit trying to change other folks into believing just like we do. If we are going to do this we at least must know something about the folks we are trying to change. As some of you know I was raised on a farm and in a country store. If some person used a certain brand of coffee, when I bagged their groceries I put a different brand in their bag they would have fussed about it and My Dad would have chewed me out in front of ever body in hearing distance. He did it even if I made an honest mistake. The voters don’t seem to care if our Nations leaders don’t show at least a little bit of historical knowledge about foreign governments we do business with. Some of them are smart enough to just let us make a mistake and then we just buy them off. Our present enemies cannot be bought off. They are after the whole thing, not just a handout.
