When our forefathers were having a lots of fights, shootings and plain old simple arguments over the Constitution and what powers would be granted to the states or whether to have a strong central government they thought the problem would be settled when the Constitution was adopted. To be honest they were not sure they would even leave the protection of the English Kings and Queens because all the so called states to be thought that South Carolina would not vote to succeed and since the delegates already was at a tie vote the northern most state had about given up. The Southern folks could buy from England farming tools cheaper that from the Yankees up North. However, after the battles were over America had drawn a Constitution. If followed, our Nation would be a Democratic Republic. The fat politicians and the skinny ones too I reckon went home happy. The people that wanted a strong Central Government read the Constitution like they do today we would have a strong Central Government but it would be a Democratic Republic. The ones that wanted strong States Rights would have a Democratic Republic with strong States Rights like they read the Constitution today. In one of the weekly magazines there is an article about electric power lines right of ways being states rights to designate and another group takes the opposite. We will always have the old argument about States Rights over Federal Rights as long as we have this country. It just might lead to another civil war over the idea like the last one was fought over. They just need a big enough argument like slavery. You know the Emancipation Proclamation only freed those Slaves that lived below the Macon Dixon Line an amendment to the constitution had to be passed to free all the Slaves. Wonder why some one does not tell how slavery really got started in this country? I guess it would embarrass some of those Long Island New Yorkers.

Know why the South Carolina voting delegate was late? He was visiting His voters to see how they wanted him to vote. Boy it would be great if our present day elected officials would do that. They claim to large a district. Bull. That ole boy from South Carolina had a whole state and had to ride a horse.

Have you noticed how bad a SPELLER I AM? I have and forget to use the spell checker on the computer. That means I am also FORGETFULL Age I guess.

Heaven only knows if the American people will get over their selfish way and insure Republic for our future generations. It would be a great act if middle class American of all races came together and demanded that form of Government. It would surely take a real living of and by the Constitution. GO VOTE AT ALL ELECTION
