NEW GOVERNOR LOOKS KIND OF SKINNY
The new governor could go a long way getting in good with the voters by telling us how much money the State has in the Till. Of course all those “puddle jumpers” that jumped from one mud hole to another to get around a law passed to limit the number of years a person could serve they forgot to mention if term limits really meant what it what supposed too will not want the people to know how much of anything the state has, especially Money.
Maybe it is
just me but I notice that ever time the state needs a little money for a
community for what ever it is being used for the funds just appear and the good
ole boy that found the funds just picked up support from some group.
There must be a “Honey Hole” known by just a few folks down
at the State Capital, makes a fellow wonder who keeps the key to the money
place. Sure would be nice if they would
drag some of that personal money and fix some roads and bridges and don’t yell
more taxes to do it with.
They are
getting enough for their efforts governing us few folks that vote. 50% provides evidence to the politicians that
all they have to do is fool a few folks.
Now if that Governor stays skinny that will be evidence He wasn’t living
off the fat of the land but was really trying to help the people. If he begins to show a little bulge about the
belt line it will show He is yielding to temptation. But I believe He has the
best intentions for the State
