DEATH PENALTY HARD TO
ADMINISTER 10/12/07
Federal and State Laws and Lawyers have this country so mixed up it is hard to carry out the death penalty. The courts ruled using the hangman method was cruel and unfair punishment then ruled that using the Electric Chair was the same, and now Death by Injection was cruel and unfair. Do away with the death penalty. Allow freedom of choice (suicide) instead. Immediately after sentencing a person in a crime that normally caries the death penalty it would become the live or die by choice penalty. The person would be placed in a cell about 8’X10’ with a television running twenty four hours a day with a film of the crime showing over and over with the sound fixed at a high level. Actors would act out the crime. The prisoner could never leave the cell. Food would be shoved under the door no visitors and cell call by doctors. The prisoner could have a choice that at any time he or she could push a button and a sweet smelling must would put the person to sleep for ever. After a period of time a light would come on at the door and tune of the prisoners choice would play on a tape for all to know the person had gone to their happy hunting ground.
This could not possibly be cruel, harsh, and unjust punishment because the person made a personal decision to commit the crime and a personal decision to live or go bye, bye and die with a sweet smell all around.
