AN EXAMPLE OF POLITICAL FOOLISHNESS

A good example of foolish things politicians do is the way they spend money on education. They should go back and check history. The best way to improve education with Federal Money is do like Ole Ike did when He was President. Give stipends to professionals as teachers with the stipend to be used only to return to school and take courses subject matter they teach and improve methods for teaching. Education began to improve when that happened and then went bad when politicians began to get involved directly in the classroom methods and teacher training. Everywhere politicians get involved directly, down went test scores. Now they want to set standards and determine testing policies. No child left behind is a good example.

Have you ever been on the bottom of anything yet? Don’t be critical of someone on the bottom. I spent 35 years of being on the bottom of the professional educators pay scale. It is a bad place to be. Never being able to brag you are one from the bottom.
